The History of the Metaverse
When a scientist by the name of Sir Charles Wheatstone outlined the notion of “binocular vision” in the year 1838, this is when everything got started. Binocular vision is when you merge two images, one for each eye, to produce a single 3D image.
This idea was the impetus behind the invention of a tool known as the stereoscope, which creates an image by exploiting the optical illusion of depth.
