Teaching & Education
Masters from UMIST in Technology Management.
PGCE from University of Leeds and started teaching in 1995.
Assistant Head for ICT at the super futuristic and multi-award winning Djanogly City Academy Nottingham.
What Else?
After a few years in corporate and BSF (oh my!) I set up New Ways to Learn to get teachers transforming with edtech and to date we’ve trained well over 20,000 teachers in the art of the possible with technology in education with 98% excellent rating.
Why Spongy Elephant?
Spongy Elephant is my way of taking training to the next level to be wholly inclusive and totally disruptive. Traditional face to face training will live on, but it can be significantly better.
It is time for change.
I first heard Sanjesh (aka Sonny) talk at a workshop at Innovative Learning in London 2012. His passion for the use of technology in learning is infectious. He impressed, packed a punch, opened eyes, and motivated my colleagues, and they are still talking about him weeks after.
